Human Resources Manager - Full Time | HQ Admin
Location: Victor, ID or Jackson, WY
Reports to: President
General Summary
Here at NWKW our people are our most important asset. The HR Manager is the go-to person for all things people, including payroll, benefits administration, recruiting, employee relations, training & development, and compliance. As part of this job, you’ll be asked to ensure that we have the culture, systems, and processes in place to support employee satisfaction and NWKW best practices. You will be an integral part of the leadership team and help us take the People operations function to the next level.
About you:
  • 4-5 years of experience in HR
  • 1-2 years payroll processing experience
  • People oriented and results driven
  • Self motivated, ability to work independently
  • Willingness to wear many hats as a team of one and part of a growing organization
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to act with discretion, handle sensitive and confidential information
  • A self described life-long learner
  • PHR or SHRM- CP preferred
  • Bonus points: Experience in a manufacturing or retail environment
What you’ll do:
  • Foster positive and supportive business-employee relationships as a resource for all employees.
  • Partner with business leaders and provide decision support through HR metrics and data storytelling.
  • Manage payroll process and benefit administration in collaboration with Finance.
  • Own all aspects of the employee lifecycle: recruiting, onboarding, documentation, performance management.
  • Collaborate with department heads on workforce planning & job descriptions.
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances and other issues.
  • Manage employee relations budget in partnership with department heads.
  • Focus on culture, nurture a positive working environment for all employees.
  • Manage employee engagement measurement and initiatives.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Help develop and implement training materials for company departments in line with job duties, company mission and values.
